Porchia-Albert, CD, CPD, CLC, CHHC, is a mother of six and the founder and CEO of Ancient Song, a national birth justice organization focused on ending maternal and infant mortality in Black and Latinx communities. Ancient Song offers doula training, community education, and advocates for policy change to advance reproductive and birth justice. Chanel applies a human rights lens to birthing and institutional reform, emphasizing the need to transform hospital care through a birth justice framework.
